2024 Downtown Strawman Competition

Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation, Poplar Bluff Municipal Library, Downtown PB & Poplar Bluff Camber of Commerce’s Annual Downtown Strawman Competition - Wednesday, September 25, 2024

Brush off the cobwebs and use your creativity and imagination to create a Strawman (scarecrow) to decorate Downtown Poplar Bluff for the fall season. Your entry can be a traditional strawman, or you can let your imagination run wild to create a whimsical, funny, artistic creation, but nothing too gory please!

Registration: Reserve your spot for $20. All entry forms must be received by 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Saturday, March 9 - Lucky Leprechaun 5k -McLane Park

Saturday, April 13 - Garden Party Gallop 5k (Alice in Wonderland - Guess your finish time) -Hendrickson Park
*Guess your finish time at registration. The participant with closest guess wins a $50 Visa gift card. NO PHONES OR WATCHES ALLOWED ON THE COURSE!

Saturday, May 4 - May the 4th Be With You 5k -Hendrickson Park
